What is Rusty?
Rusty is a parent-managed learning companion for children ages 4–12. Its current scope is foundational reading and math practice through short activities, shared reading, quizzes, games, and optional live voice.
What is included for free?
A Free account includes one cloud learner and 10 shared voice minutes per local week. The allowance renews weekly; it is not a consumable purchase. Activity-only practice remains available when voice time runs out.
Does a child need an account?
No. An adult creates and owns the family account, sets a parent PIN, completes the applicable notices and consent choices, and creates the learner profile.
What can parents see and control?
Parents can manage learner profiles, voice access, privacy choices, plan and usage information, session history, practiced skills, exports, and deletion. Each child’s profile and learning record stay separate.
Does Rusty replace a teacher or tutor?
No. Rusty provides focused practice and follow-up questions. It is not a full curriculum, diagnostic assessment, homework solver, emergency service, or substitute for a teacher, tutor, clinician, or involved parent.
How does Rusty handle child voice?
Voice is optional and requires the adult setup, notice, authorization, and consent steps. Rusty does not save raw child voice recordings or full conversation transcripts. Activity-only practice works when voice is unavailable or exhausted.
What are Adventure Worlds?
Wild Safari, Outer Space, Deep Ocean, Dino Valley, and Enchanted Forest change the mascot and scenery while keeping the learning rules and parent controls consistent.
Can tutors or learning organizations work with Rusty?
